There are many ways to learn about agriculture then there is growing up around it. As long as I can remember there’s been cattle, occasionally pigs, gardens and more. Through 4-H and FFA as well as later independently with rare livestock and working with horses many lessons carried forward to this point.

With an A.A.S. from Black Hawk East community college and experience with many animals moving forward with SlowMoneyFarm is a way to create a conservation project as well as a life and work for several people. This isn’t just those of us picking crops or working with young livestock.

Photographer, writer, poop scooper, plant planter and many other hats what needs to be done to get this project moving is what’s done. Be it doing it or designating…we are moving forward!
