Projects Old & New In Pictures

May 1, 2012

So last night we finished up the sides of the brooder, chick tight and ready to roll! Finishing up the hinges on the roof is all that remains.

The stevia is growing well, although we lost the other container when it got too wet. We’ll be able to keep growing with this.

Giant Chinchilla bunnies getting bigger. Time to rotate again! Don’t forget to stop by and spread the word about our barn upgrade fundraiser project!

Yesterday was busy with a trip to get feed, Diva needed a new collar and her rabies vaccination, and a few miscellaneous errands. Preparation, too, to pick up the Californians that have been eagerly awaited. And a few rabbits will likely have a freezer date…limited room and funds means additional decisions to keep them fed and housed well.

Thanks for ‘visiting!’

The Giant Chinchilla IS a rabbit. It’s a special breed that was developed for meat and fur over 80 years ago. Thanks for stopping by!
