Taking Risks, Conquering Fears

November 8, 2012

Many people have great ideas that don’t bear fruit because they’re not planted and tended. As we prepare to go acquire our land – at long last! – the risk and fear balance is real.

Any business, any person faces risk. We risk when we drive to town – will everyone stay on their side of the road? Then there’s calculated risk. Weight the possible problems, try to prevent them, look at options, be set on goal but flexible enough to change how we get to that goal.

And stepping out is scary. The doubts crowd in…or try to! We all have a choice – do we let the doubt in or do we turn it away?

This says we dream big, plan big, take risk and conquer fear. Moving forward is the only way to achieve success, whatever view of that we set for ourselves.

Take calculated risks. Fear doesn’t have a chance to stall you if you take action towards your goal. Is it easy? Sometimes no.

But it’s worth it.
