Just a little. Will savor it for what it is – a shift to the next gear. We have had some nailbiting squeaker times the last six months or so following a year of delays and frustration. We could have given up. We wondered what would happen. We prayed, cried, swallowed pride and asked for support, cried some more, prayed some more.
I made plans for spring not knowing if we’d make it through winter. And while there are still major challenges ahead, one monumental stepping stone tonight. We moved in April 2006, and some major memories made here.
While not, yet, caught up entirely, we’ll savor one…last…check…written. There’s still some paperwork to do but…the little spot we call home is now free and clear. Imperfect, yep. But it’s paid for, and we can work on eliminating the bills accumulated and at last get our Kentucky place with the money we don’t have to pay for a roof (after we fix the roof, which needs sealed!).
From the bottom of my heart I want to thank those who have purchased from us, sponsored this little hole in the wall, encouraged us with comments, tweets and messages and listened when I just needed to vent and blow off some steam. There’s a few people in particular I won’t name but y’all know who you are and thank you will never be enough.
As the seedlings poke up this spring, and another year springs to life, it allows helping those with less. A goal of Kentucky land is possible…and will happen. Thank you.
And thanks to all for celebrating for a few minutes with us tonight!
