Conversations – Ag in the Bible
Most of us know a variety of people. There’s those we talk to often, those we see regularly, those who call us when they need something and those we never hear from anymore.
Sometimes it’s too easy to let relationships slide away and the time takes over. Months go by, then years and it’s someone you once knew. It’s hard to be everywhere – but we’re imperfect people.
This song played in my mind last night…and got me thinking how relationships vary.
It’s easy for people to criticize. It’s easy for relationships to be changed by it. In Luke, Jesus heals a woman on the Sabbath – for 18 years she was crippled. He was criticized for working on the day of rest.
The Lord answered him “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water? Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years,be set free on the Sabbath from what bound her?” Luke 13:15-16
He knows us. He knows the relationship if we maintain it. Make it a daily familiar relationship. God knows who I am.
